Birds of Korond Cake Stand
This cake stand is the most significant piece within the Birds of Korond Range. The traditional ceramics of the Transylvanian village of Korond are famous for their distinctive bird motif which also decorates this cake stand. Blue and white colours dominate.
The strong card we use is made of recycled paper. The platter's surface is covered with high quality foil. Cakes can be sliced with a sharp knife on the surface of the platter. It can easily hold cakes as heavy as a few kilos.Â
The stands can be folded and are easy to transport and store.
They are very simple to set up and are re-usable.
